Frequently Asked Questions

No. In most cases, you can schedule directly with Milano Chiropractic without a referral. If you're unsure about your specific insurance requirements, we're happy to help answer your questions.

Your first visit includes time to talk about your health history, current concerns, and what you hope to achieve with care. A thorough examination will be performed, including an evaluation of your movement, posture, and areas of concern. We’ll discuss your findings and determine whether chiropractic care is appropriate for you. If so, we'll work together to create a personalized care plan based on your individual needs and goals.

This depends on your individual situation but typically the answer is yet. After reviewing your history and examination findings, we will determine whether it is appropriate to begin treatment during your first visit. Your care will always be based on your individual needs and clinical findings. If we feel the need, we may refer you out for x-rays before your adjustment is given.

Milano Chiropractic accepts most major insurance plans. Because coverage varies depending on your individual plan, we recommend contacting our office with your insurance information before your visit. We are happy to help you understand your chiropractic benefits, deductibles, copays and what is covered when possible. We currently accept Medicare, UPHP, Blue Cross, BCN, VA, Cigna, Humana and more.

You do not need insurance to receive care. We offer options for patients who are paying out of pocket as well as a cash time of service discount. Please contact our office for current pricing and additional information.
